Andrew Russell, AICP

Founder, Director of Municipal Services
Andrew is a community planner whose passion for building great communities drives his work every day. He has over a decade of experience working in the public, nonprofit, and private sectors at the local, county, and regional levels, lending to his well-rounded view of how to help municipalities thrive.
Prior to founding PDRCO, Andrew served as Planning Director for Retail Strategies and held progressive roles in the planning and development departments at the City of Chamblee, Georgia, the City of Dunwoody, Georgia, and the East Central Florida Regional Planning Council.
Andrew graduated from UAB with a BA in Political Science and a Master of Public Administration degree. After receiving his MPA, he earned his Graduate Certificate in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Central Florida. Andrew serves on the Board of the UAB MPA Alumni Network and on the Board of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Birmingham.
Laura Russell

Partner, Director of Development Services and Permitting
Laura brings over a decade of private-sector experience in data analytics and business strategy to the field of community development. A desire for work with greater community impact led to a career change to join her brother Andrew at PDRCO. To support this transition, Laura earned a Certificate in Sustainable Cities from Johns Hopkins University.
Laura graduated from Birmingham-Southern College with a BS in Business Administration and from The University of Alabama with a Master of Business Administration in Strategic Management. She is currently a Big Sister with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Chattanooga.
